Great little place with amazing food. Everything was made fresh and piping hot. We tried fried chicken dumplings, Pad Mama, Pad See Eew which were all delicious. The owner was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely come back to try other dishes.

Malinee’s Thai House is a quant little neighborhood joint run by the namesake owner as a family restaurant. It is no frills, affordable good food. The portion sizes are great for the price. Recommend the place for comfy Thai food. We got take out - Pad Thai, Red curry and Spicy basil; red curry was the favorite, do try.

My husband and I tried the Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai. It was so flavourful. The Spring Rolls were good as well. Owners are very friendly. Fast service. We will be back!

Decent Thai food (halal) for reasonable prices. I wish there was little bit more chicken in the dish but I guess for the price it’s reasonable. Prompt service with smile and an attentive chef who cares. Probably one of the few restaurants where they would offer you bottled water as complimentary! Will go back again.

We spent 75. 2 noodles. 3 curries. It could've fed 8 people. So the pricing is pretty good. The food itself tastes great, and doesn't seem unhealthy. And it doesn't leave you feeling uncomfortable. I loved it! I like the vibe of the place. It's super small, so it feels very squished, and it's a bit of a mess right now because of dine-in restrictions. But it feels cozy! And the decor creates a pretty authentic vibe. I recommend it.

We are used to a place in Toronto that is 45 minutes away. It is both Lao and Thai combined. We had tried a few places in Durham and none compared, until we found this restaurant!!!! Malinee's Thai House!!!! The food is really good. It compares and even surpasses most local and some Toronto restaurants. Portions are great. Price is fair. It's spice levels are just right. Each ordered item had its own distinct flavour, unlike some places where all the dishes taste the same. The reviews are correct, it is lacking in, and could use, a few more pieces of what ever protein you order. Service is always great. They are friendly and accommodating and because of this, and the above, it is our favourite Thai restaurant, East of Toronto!! Thank you Malinee !!!

This is a hidden Halal Thai Restaurant in Ajax. We ordered their Basil Spicy Chicken and the Red Chicken Curry. Both tasted great and authentic. I wish there were more chicken in the dish, but overall great. Spice level was amazing. The lady there, was really nice and lovely. All the dishes were reasonably priced compared to other Thai halal restaurants in GTA. I would come back here again and highly recommended.
